Refund & Cancellation Policy
Guidelines regarding donations, spiritual services, and refund requests.

1. General Principles
Avuthu Vari Renuka Devi Temple is a religious and non-profit organization. All contributions, including donations and payments for pooja services, are dedicated to the maintenance of the temple, the performance of sacred rituals, and community welfare programs. By making a payment through this portal, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms regarding refunds and cancellations.
2. Donations
Donations made to the temple are voluntary and are considered final once the transaction is successfully completed. Refunds for donations will only be considered in the following exceptional cases:
- Duplicate Transactions: If a donation was accidentally processed more than once due to a technical error.
- Unauthorized Use: If it is proven that a donation was made using a lost or stolen payment card without the cardholder's consent.
- Incorrect Amount: If a typo lead to an unintended donation amount (subject to verification).
3. Pooja & Spiritual Service Cancellations
Devotees who have booked a pooja or other spiritual ritual through our online booking engine may request a cancellation and refund under the following conditions:
- Cancellation requests must be submitted at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled pooja time.
- For cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance, a full refund (minus any administrative or payment gateway processing fees) will be issued.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the service but at least 24 hours in advance will be eligible for a 50% refund.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the service are non-refundable, as the temple would have already prepared the necessary materials and made logistical arrangements.
4. Temple-Initiated Cancellations
If the temple administration is unable to perform a scheduled pooja due to unforeseen religious ceremonies, administrative requirements, or technical failures, we will either reschedule the pooja at a time convenient for the devotee or offer a 100% refund of the booking amount.
5. Refund Process
To request a refund, please send an email to refunds@renukadevi.temple with the following details:
- Copy of the digital receipt or transaction ID.
- Date and amount of the transaction.
- The specific reason for the refund request.
Our goal is to process all valid refund requests within 7-10 working days. Refunds will be issued only to the original payment method used for the transaction.
6. Dispute Resolution
If you have any concerns regarding a transaction, we encourage you to contact us directly to resolve the issue in a spiritual and collaborative manner. Our temple administration is here to assist you and ensure your faith and contributions are respected.
